An example of the Rocky biome
The Rocky or Mountain biome is a sub-biome of CryoFall. Rocky areas can appear in the Temperate Forest, Tropical Forest, Boreal Forest, Barren, and Swamp areas. They appear as raised areas with gray, stony ground. Many mineral nodes spawn in this area, including Iron Ore Nodes, Copper Ore Nodes, Sulfur Powder Nodes, and Potassium Nitrate Nodes. On the world map, these areas appear gray. Occasionally, Crawlers and Cloaked Lizards will spawn in Rocky areas. Rocky areas are also the location for the Psi Grove event.
